Ground Well Counseling is a practice devoted to facilitating every person’s healing and agency. Though most sessions are focused at an individual level, social justice, healing and environmental wellbeing are essential components of the practice.
Sign up for my weekly updates here. I send out one newsletter a week on the weekend. I also use this newsletter to send notifications about event cancellations.
All current and upcoming Ground Well Counseling groups and events will be listed here.
Most events are free and/or donation-based. All groups have a sliding scale. Please see the rates and sliding scale policy for all groups. Please check each individual event. Feel free to contact me with further questions.
Runs from September to June at Merrymeeting Hall in Bowdoinham.
Spend an hour resting and recalibrating with a gentle sound bath featuring Himalayan singing bowls, tongue drum, and voice. Sessions also typically include calming breathing or mindfulness techniques to start class and some minutes of silence near the end. Remember to bring a mat, pillow, and/or blanket, as the floor is hard and body temperature can cool down during relaxation.
Free of charge, however, donations accepted gratefully - 25% of donations go to the Bowdoinham Historical Society, which preserves and manages Merrymeeting Hall.
Please check calendar for exact dates and locations.
Free!
For anyone working in helping, wellness, or related fields, inclusive (that means, if you’re wondering if you fit that description, yes you do)! Come meet new friends or meet up with old friends for a casual walk in a beautiful place. Networking is welcomed but optional: the goal of these walks is to provide opportunities to meet and build community with folks who have shared values and professional experiences. Most of these walks will be about an hour long - bite-sized socialization time to fit into our busy lives!
